Narasimha Jayakumar is currently the CEO of Greaves Retail. With over 29 years of experience, he is a seasoned business leader who has been driving growth and profitability across consumer Internet, B2B, and technology industries. He has led sales and marketing of B2B & B2C products, customer service and operations at scale.
Prior to joining Greaves, Narasimha served as the Managing Director of Brainly India, a subsidiary of Brainly Inc., a global ed-tech company and has also served as the CEO of Aakash Edutech, where he played a pivotal role in building the company’s digital edtech subsidiary, which was sold to Byju’s. Narasimha has also led the automotive vertical at Google, where he gained a deep understanding of the automotive ecosystem. Prior to Google,Narasimha was based out of London, UK, where he ran Expedia’s B2B hotel distribution business for Europe before joining Google. He has worked with various investors, including promoters, private equity, and venture capital firms, to create value. Narsimha holds a Computer Engineering degree from NIT Karnataka, a PGDM from IIM Bengaluru, and a full-time MBA from the London Business School, where he was awarded merit for his academic achievements. He started his career with the Tata Group as part of the Tata Administrative Services (TAS), a group leadership programme.
