Lead Genset Application Engineering

Lead the Design and Application of Auxiliary Power business ( 5kVA to 2500kVA) by releasing the product as per Schedule. (Low range <200KVA, Medium Range 200<KVA<1000, Mega series >1000KVA
Develop Product expansion range by means of Designing, Selecting, Branding, or technology tie-up.
Cater Domestic and Export (Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe) Market requirements
Lead the cross-functional team and provide technical support to other functional areas.
Collaborative working with, Marketing, Applications, & Product Line Management for Product release of custom sales orders within agreed timeline
Develop technical requirements and quality standards for Products (DG set)
Following up with all cross-functional and lead teams for completion of tasks on time
Convert DG set technicalities, Application understanding and electrical integration into technical requirements.
Sound knowledge of Design, testing, Validation, DG selection, Switch gears, Engine and DG Standards, and Zero-based costing.
Has sound knowledge of different electrical panels like Synchronizing panel, MCC, AMF panels
Capable to drive different training sessions to enhance team capability.
Sound knowledge on Homologations, Compliances and network with Govt/Certifying agencies for domestic and export requirements.

Drive Design of Enclosure, Silencer, Base and Cooling System for Genest and lead team.
Has to control costs to maximize the margins.
Support complete sales team for customized products for timely release of BOM and Specification
Highlight key issues during BOM preparation and timely escalation for resolution.
Responsive to regular reviews of SOF requirements and approvals for the scope of supplies.
Coordination with cross-functional team for closer of FTR / New product readiness
Participate in engineering change request discussion and update sharing with the sales team
Coordination with the sales team for technical document release.
Review of electrical schemes for integration of DG set with other panels.
Able to work on multiple projects on the same time with fixed deliverables.
Encourage best-in-class and Innovative solutions as per requirements.
