GROW (Grow Recommended Online Workshop)
We may have heard of Monday blues, mid-week blues and mid-career blues in our daily conversations but not of quarantine blues until now! People across the globe are quarantining out of concern for the corona virus and, in some cases, due to government orders of complete lockdown. In light of the current situation, social distancing is a necessity and one needs to follow it judiciously to flatten the curve of the pandemic and tide over this situation. In these testing times, one needs to stay connected with their working-level teams, office colleagues and help each other to progress on their work requirements. This is the time to support and protect all of us and our communities.
To say tough times are upon us would be a little bit of an understatement. Even if one is not directly affected by the deadly virus, one is most certainly hit by its consequences. During this period, when everyone is in quarantine and working from home, feelings of anxiety, despair, distress, concern, loneliness, and boredom are natural and bound to happen. At Greaves Cotton, the health and well-being of our employees are important to us. The Greaves family recognizes the need for mental health support during this period of quarantine. We are fortunate to live in a time where technology allows us to see and hear each other, even from a distance. We, at Greaves Cotton, are digitally-equipped to enable and prepare for a brighter and better tomorrow for our employees.
We believe that such extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Since passion and resilience is a part of Greaves Cotton, the Greaves Family has initiated a live session known as GROW –Greaves Recommended Online Workshop. It is filled with some exciting learning opportunities for all age groups for its employees so that they can make the most out of this situation. We are asking our employees to utilize this time to learn something new and also involve their families. It is all about giving more to employees, developing them, nurturing them and caring about them. We believe in the power of e-learning and strive to embrace technology, keeping the doors of learning open during this pandemic.
